Prisma Reyes Revisited

Disappearance: 4/17/2019

Disclaimer: Tarot readings should not be taken as absolute claims that something did or did not happen. I only report the meaning of the cards, their relationships and the meaning in the context of those relationships, as well as intuitions I have based entirely on the cards presented in the reading. Tarot reading is an art and not a science.

I did a reading on Prisma on October 18th of 2021. However, I’ve thought about her a lot since then and have wanted to circle back and do more readings to see what might come up.

Prisma Reyes reading 1

In response to my question about who or what caused the disappearance of Prisma, the reading is showing me the King of Wands. The Lovers reversed was pulled in connection with this card. This is suggesting that there is a male involved who has direct knowledge about what happened, or that caused it to happen. The Lovers reversed is a card that usually depicts disharmony and conflict between two people. Typically, there is a romantic element to the card in that in the reversed position it can represent a situation where two people do not share the same feelings. For example, sometimes it comes up to depict a scenario where one person is obsessed with another. In other situations it comes up for relationships that are either on the verge of ending, or have already ended, due to major problems and imbalances. The Lovers reversed may also point to a bad decision that a person made that has had a major influence on the situation.

The Star reversed is conveying that the outcome the person wanted from all of this is not what ultimately happened. His hopes and wishes were not fulfilled. The whole situation has become a real problem for him.

The Moon reversed tells me that the truth will come out about what happened to Prisma. Whatever the circumstances are, surrounding her disappearance, they will become known.

The Chariot upright can stand for a person’s drive or willpower. In some instances, tarot cards are literal in their representation and so it is possible it is asking people to pay attention to a vehicle as it may provide the information needed to identify the person involved. It may also still have evidence as well. It’s also a card of travel and movement.

The Ace of Cups is conveying some kind of new beginning, or beginnings, for the person discussed within this reading. I don’t know exactly how to read this card here. It is typically a positive one that can point to a new relationship, a pregnancy, a celebration of some kind, etc.

The Five of Swords reversed is showing me a conclusion to this situation – a solution of sorts. Sometimes this card comes up when there is an arrest or when a crime has been uncovered. If there was no crime that occurred, then it means some kind of resolution has occurred in response to a major conflict. Sometimes it is a peaceful one. Sometimes it is a violent one. Either way, if these cards are correct, the whole matter will fully come to light at some point.

The Wheel of Fortune is suggesting that luck and/or chance has been in this person’s favor – at least it has with regard to their involvement in, or knowledge of, Prisma’s disappearance. However, the Wheel always comes up as a reminder that life is a cycle and based on other cards in this reading, I think this person’s luck may run out. Or may have run out. One or the other.

The Ten of Cups reversed is a card that depicts unhappy home environments and domestic types of problems. If it pertains to the person’s current life, it might be suggesting that their homelife is unstable. Another possibility is that the person has come from a broken home or a dysfunctional family. I am not completely sure if this card has come up as a means to help identify who the person is or if it has a deeper meaning in terms of describing the dynamics of this situation, and this person’s relationship to Prisma. It can point to people being involved that are associated with Prisma’s home environment or general social circle too. It depends.

The Hierophant reversed can be interpreted a few ways. On one hand, it might point to a person who has gotten, or will be getting, a divorce. On another it can refer to someone who is rebellious and unconventional. It can depict a person who is or has been judged for their past, or for some aspect of their lifestyle.

Prisma Reyes reading 2

There is a lot going on in this reading and I’m not clear on all of it. I asked about the circumstances that caused Prisma’s disappearance and so when you read these descriptions, think of them in the context of what was happening in the time leading up to – and including – the disappearance.

The Eight of Wands reversed is showing a situation driven by factors such as bad timing, delays, and things of that nature. Sometimes, it points to a situation where someone feels impatient or a sense of panic.

Something was happening where a person involved was behaving in a stubborn manner. I don’t know if it was Prisma, or someone else. But the Nine of Wands reversed shows me a situation where someone feels as though they have been fighting something for a long time and they are running out of energy to continue the fight.

The Page of Pentacles reversed is either bad news that Prisma received regarding money or some type of material/earthly matter, or it represents a person that sometimes comes across as overly intense, immature, and possibly lazy. The Six of Pentacles reversed is a situation where someone is giving another person money or resources, but there are strings attached. Or expectations.

The Wheel of Fortune is coming up in this reading as well. It’s difficult to read this card here, but it is one that comes up when forces are outside of a person’s control. It can suggest that circumstances played out a certain way by chance. Which makes me think that Prisma didn’t disappear intentionally. I could be reading this card wrong, but that’s how it’s coming across.

The Queen of Wands reversed is coming up and I don’t know if this is meant to represent Prisma or another woman entirely. The reversed position emphasizes some of the more negative attributes associated with the card; however, sometimes they are negative because a person is responding badly to a stressful situation. Either way, I pulled the Ace of Cups reversed in connection with this woman. I pulled the card in its upright position in the last reading. Here it is not so positive and can point to problems such as fertility issues, miscarriages, bad news, breakup, etc. It is basically a card where plans that were new and potentially promising have not worked out. Something went wrong.

The King of Pentacles reversed is showing me a man involved in these circumstances. I pulled the Three of Swords in connection with this card and that’s a card that comes up for people who feel broken-hearted and/or depressed over something that has happened. It can come up when there has been a breakup or another type of upsetting event. It’s an overall card of emotional distress and so it’s showing the person in the King’s position as feeling these types of emotions.

The Three of Pentacles is a card that comes up for people who work in a trade or who do a particular type of work that they are committed to doing. Sometimes I see this card come up for general collaborations or projects that involve one’s career, home life, or other matters of a material nature. In its upright position, it suggests that a person is good at their job, pays attention to detail, and is potentially studying to become better or learn more. Now how this pertains to Prisma, I don’t know. Was this someone she worked with at some point? Is there job a clue to all this? I really can’t tell here. It’s important though so it’s something to keep in mind.

The Two of Cups is a relationship card. It is often representative of romantic relationships, but not always. It can refer to close connections between a person and a family member, or a person and a friend. However, more often than not it does pertain to romantic matters, and it depicts two people with a strong connection where there is a sense of balance. Did she have something going on with someone that set another person off? The dynamics here are confusing – especially since I don’t know what was happening in her life at the time (possible relationships, past ones, etc.).

Now what is weird about this reading is that the Page of Cups reversed shows a situation taking a bad turn. It comes up in reference to bad news concerning matters of the heart or feelings, typically. If it represents a person and their behavior, then it is someone who is childish – or behaving in a childish way – who might feel vindictive and upset over something that has happened.

The Knight of Pentacles reversed was pulled in connection to that card and so I’m inclined to want to read the situation as one where there was some kind of situation or news that was shared that was extremely upsetting. The Knight of Pentacles reversed usually refers to a male who is either a younger adult, or someone behaving in a manner consistent with one, who is not getting their way and can be unstable at times.

In connection with the Knight of Pentacles reversed, I pulled the Page of Swords. This is where the reading gets tricky. So the Page of Swords, like all pages, can represent either a message, a child, an older person who exhibits childish mannerisms (for better or worse), or a combination of those things. If this one represents news, then it was good news – which seems odd given the whole situation. If it represents a child then it is one who is intelligent, logical, often talkative, curious, and other similar attributes.

Now the last card, associated with the above court cards (the Pages and the Knight), is the Five of Wands. This card tells me that there was a situation that caused Prisma’s disappearance that occurred due to a conflict situation where people had differing agendas and/or goals. It’s all reading like some information became known, through messages or speaking or some manner like that, and it caused a significant conflict – conflict that is at the root of all this.

Question: Is there anything else I should know about Prisma’s disappearance?

Hanged Man – 6 of Cups – The World

Prisma Reyes reading 3

The Hanged Man is a card that indicates someone feels trapped or confined. It can be a card where someone is unsure of what to do and having trouble letting go of something or someone.

The Six of Cups can go a couple of ways. I got this card when I was doing a reading on the missing Australian girl, named Cleo Smith. It came up at the end of a reading and I really couldn’t figure out why until her case was solved. Anyway, she was eventually found alive and in good health so in retrospect I now know that it can – potentially – refer to someone who is feeling homesick or spending a lot of time thinking about the past or children or various memories. It is also a card that can point to a reunion of some kind. I’m hoping this card means that Prisma might come home, but I really don’t dare guess about her status and the card could ultimately refer to another person involved, instead of Prisma.

The World is a card showing something that has come full circle – whether it be a person’s life or a mystery or some kind of situation that begins and reaches a full conclusion. What gives me pause about this is that I’ve had it come up in readings where the outcome was a murder. Now is that what the card means happened? No, not necessarily. It could point to the answers coming out and there being a conclusion to her disappearance. It really could go either way here.

Like I said before though, the readings are pointing to secrets being revealed and people getting the answers they seek about Prisma’s disappearance. So I do see this situation resolving at some point and people gaining an understanding of what really happened.
