Summary:

Curtis Thorne was last seen on August 6th of 2021. I don’t have details beyond that about what happened to him or what is thought to have happened to him.

Question: What circumstances caused Curtis’ disappearance?

Row 1
The Lovers – Emperor (r) – Justice (r)

Row 2
Page of Cups (r) – Ace of Pentacles (r) – 4 of Pentacles (r)
Card pulled for the Page of Cups (r): 3 of Wands (r)

Row 3
Magician – Empress – 5 of Cups (r)

Reading

The first card for this reading is the Lovers. This card usually represents one of two things. Either it refers to a romantic relationship/partnership between Curtis and another person, or it is referencing an important decision that Curtis was faced with making.

The Emperor reversed is showing me a person that was involved in his life at the time of his disappearance that comes across as an older male. The age and gender can vary, but I usually get this card when it pertains to a male. In the reversed position, this is someone who abuses their power, is a control freak, and behaves recklessly. It’s just an overall oppressive and negative influence.

Justice reverse tells me that something shady happened. Something unfair or unjust happened in reference to Curtis’ disappearance. It’s reading like a foul play card. Remember, though, that these are just tarot readings. They aren’t intended to be taken as fact. So I’m not saying he is deceased, but I am saying that something bad happened here.

The Page of Cups reversed can represent a message or a kind of messenger. It usually relates to emotional matters or news. In the reversed position, it is a negative message or interaction. It can represent a broken marriage proposal, an obsession, an exploitative situation, etc.

The Three of Wands reversed was pulled for the Page of Cups reversed. It’s looking like the news, or the interaction represented by the Page card might have had something to do with travel or a long-distance type of relationship. In some cases, it can just refer to a sense of being unhappy with the decisions that a person has made. However, it is connected to that Page card and so the meaning is related to that specifically.

Ace of Pentacles reversed is showing me serious money troubles. It’s a card of poor financial control or delays in getting money that was needed or expected. It also indicates a lack of planning that can put a person in a financial bind.

The Four of Pentacles reversed is a card that I see when someone is trying to rid themselves of things or people. It can be a positive card in that it sometimes refers to a person being generous and giving gifts to people. However, it can also be a negative card that refers to financial losses, gambling, or debts.

The last row of cards is a little mystifying in that I’m not sure exactly how they fit in here. The Magician is a card of resourcefulness and skill. Ordinarily, the Empress is a positive card. But I’ve seen it appear to take on an alternate meaning in these types of readings and so I’ll see what the next reading says and then circle back to this. The Five of Cups reversed is a card of letting go. It’s usually linked to emotions or things that hold people back psychologically, such as regret or grief.

Question: Who or what caused Curtis’ disappearance?

Row 1
Strength – 8 of Swords – 4 of Cups (r)

Row 2
6 of Pentacles – 9 of Pentacles – 6 of Cups

Row 3
10 of Cups (r) – The Fool (r) – Knight of Pentacles (r)
Card pulled for the Knight of Pentacles (r): The Magician

Reading:

Strength is usually a card about overcoming difficulties, having the courage of one’s convictions, and gathering inner strength. Sometimes it is a card indicating that there is something going on behind the scenes – someone pulling strings, basically. Either way, it’s a card that comes up when a situation or problem calls for courage or inner strength and this suggests that there was some kind of serious problem that Curtis was faced with that he did want to have the strength to confront.

The Eight of Swords is showing someone who is trapped and feels like they were backed into a corner. Since this reading does not appear to present an actual person until the end of it, it is reading like it pertains to Curtis specifically. It can definitely be a victimization card and/or one that shows a person as being silenced.

The Four of Cups reversed is a card that is all about moving on and seizing opportunities.

The Six of Pentacles is a card that depicts someone who has the ability to give as doing so to someone who is in need. Did someone help Curtis out with money? The first reading indicated the possibility (likelihood) of financial problems and could be hinting at some kind of debt that Curtis owed. I don’t necessarily mean monetary, but that’s among the possibilities.

The Nine of Pentacles is a card that usually represents financial freedom, abundance, and/or independence. If there is another person involved in Curtis’ disappearance somehow, it is reading like they were better off than him financially – at least at the time that all this happened. Because I have the Six of Pentacles showing me someone in a giving position and then next to it is a card that shows someone who has achieved some degree of wealth or financial independence. The first reading, which focused on Curtis, did not present him in this light and so it sounds like this is someone else.

The Six of Cups is kind of like a reminiscing about childhood card. It can be positive memories about childhood or in some cases may refer to matters relating to childhood abuse.

And the above card is important here because the Ten of Cups reversed is showing that there was trouble at home. Now when I say there were problems at home, I don’t necessarily mean within the residence where he lived necessarily. What I’m really trying to say is that I think that someone that was close to Curtis, and knew him on an emotional level, does know what happened here. They know details about how and why he is missing.

The Fool reversed, in the context of this reading, represents carelessness or recklessness. The first reading talked about either a romantic partnership (the Lovers) or an important decision, and this card almost seems to be saying that a choice was made – maybe hastily and without enough thought. I don’t know if Curtis made it or if the person that seems to have knowledge about all of this made it though.

Finally, we have the Knight of Pentacles reversed and the Magician as the card pulled in reference to it. The Knight of Pentacles is a person or energy that typically comes across as masculine and on the younger adult side of things. It is someone who has been irresponsible, possibly disloyal, and/or someone who has made broken promises. But the Magician is a card representing resourcefulness, skill, and willpower. Much of the meaning behind these cards hinges on who is represented by the Knight card. Minimally, the two cards are showing someone who probably used whatever skills or resources they had to cause Curtis’ disappearance.

The financial matters stand out prominently, as does the suggestion that there was someone providing support or material assistance of some kind. If there is someone who can be pinpointed as having done this for Curtis, then the reading seems to point to them having answers about all this. No matter what happened here, there is a person – besides Curtis – who knows. I’m not saying they did something wrong either. I’m just saying they have answers to critical questions here.

Alan Eugene Buckels Sr.

Death: December 18, 2020
Location: Jefferson County, Arkansas

Disclaimer: Tarot readings should not be taken as absolute claims or facts with regard to any person or situation. I only present the possible meanings associated with the cards, as well as intuitions and impressions that I get during the reading. All readings are suppositional and should be treated as such.

Summary:

Alan was last seen on December 18th of 2020. His body was found near the Arkansas River – on its banks – on April 30th of 2020.

Question: What circumstances caused Alan’s death?

4 of Cups (r) – Knight of Cups (r) – Ace of Wands
Card pulled for the Knight of Cups (r): Knight of Pentacles (r)
Card pulled for the Knight of Pentacles (r): 8 of Cups

Reading

A challenge associated with all readings is separating ordinary and non-meaningful (not directly pertaining to what happened) event from true contributing factors. That said, the goal is always to try to isolate instances or occurrences that provide some kind of explanation.

The Page of Wands is often a messenger or a message. If it’s a message, then it is one that comes quickly, and it usually relates to work or love matters. The message was about some kind of event or something happy/positive. Examples include social events, weddings, gatherings, etc. So Alan got positive news about something relating to that.

The Queen of Wands is usually a female (or female energy) with strong and courageous energy. The card can represent a mother or someone who has those qualities. In its upright position it is emphasizing the positive traits associated with this person.

However, the King of Pentacles reversed was pulled in connection to the Queen and this is not a positive card. This usually represents someone who is corrupt, unsuccessful, and shows a pattern of failure. People represented by this card are focused on material matters, even if they are experiencing financial problems (which they usually are in the reversed position), and they can be ruthless.

The High Priestess reversed, pulled in connection with both the King and the Queen, indicates some kind of betrayal and secrets. Sometimes it represents fertility issues. But the positioning is showing that there was some kind of situation between these two people. I don’t know if they were harboring some kind of secret pertaining to Alan or what. Maybe the person in the King position had an issue with Alan that related to the person in the Queen position.

The Ten of Wands is a card that shows Alan in a situation where he felt overwhelmed and perhaps over-burdened. It shows a situation where someone is doing – or at least feels they are – the majority of the heavy lifting when responsibilities or problems should be spread out more evenly. Regardless, it shows Alan as being intent on pushing through whatever it was.

The Eight of Swords reversed is a card that can indicate becoming free of something or standing up to abuse of some kind. It could be verbal, physical, psychological, etc. It suggests Alan might have stood up to someone or pushed back on someone who was causing problems in his life.

The Hierophant is tough to pinpoint here. It can be a card that represents a marriage or some kind of traditional institution along those lines. But it can also represent someone who acts as a mentor or provides some kind of counseling. Alan might have gotten advice from someone regarding his situation. The card is coming up for a reason and perhaps someone closer to all of this can better distinguish its exact meaning here.

Okay there was some kind of financial or material issue associated with whatever happened to Alan. It is as though there was a lack of planning regarding something and there is this sense that greed or insecurity influenced the situation. I’m not saying Alan was greedy or insecure. The card feels disconnected to him and his personality – as though it is referring to an influence or person surrounding him.

An interesting thing that I am getting throughout this reading is that Alan was not someone to just give up on things. I think that he had an underlying sense of optimism and enthusiasm that propelled him through the harder times. I am not sure how else to explain that. But the Four of Cups reversed is another card that is saying to me that he was trying to appreciate the good things in his life. He was trying to focus on the positive aspects or what could potentially become positive if he got through whatever challenges he was facing. So though this is just a tarot reading, and I can never be sure about these things, I do not get the sense he killed himself. I feel like the cards are trying to dispel some kind of beliefs about this.

The Knight of Cups reversed is showing me a person that turned out to be dishonest and was just bad news in general. Sometimes, instead of representing an actual person, it can show a situation where there was unrequited love or some kind of negative feeling matter that is kind of clouding everything.

The Knight of Pentacles reversed can be a person or energy. If it is a person then it is someone who breaks promises, someone who is probably a gambler or terrible with money, and someone who does not finish the things they start.

The Eight of Cups, pulled in relation to the two Knight cards, is showing someone walking away from a situation or abandoning a relationship that has caused distress.

The Ace of Wands is a new beginnings card. I don’t want to push any beliefs or anything like that but since I was told that Alan is deceased, it is likely a card that is communicating to one or more of his loved ones that the journey didn’t end for him and that all of these issues that were presented in the reading are not overshadowing his soul, energy, or existence. I don’t know how else to explain it. It’s like a message from Alan to one or more people in particular that are really struggling with his passing.

Based on the first reading, I cannot say with any certainty whether someone else deliberately caused his death. But I can say there were some shady people in his life that did not have his best interests at heart and the reading was intent on conveying this.

Question: Who or what caused Alan’s death?

Row 1

Justice (r) – Hanged Man (r) – 6 of Swords

Row 2

3 of Cups – 4 of Pentacles (r) – 4 of Cups (r)

Row 3

3 of Pentacles (r) – 5 of Wands – Judgement (r)

Reading:

Well, these cards definitely answer some questions that I have from the first reading. My main question, in my own mind, was whether this was an accidental death or one that someone else caused or contributed to.

Justice reversed is telling me that something shady is connected to all this. There was an injustice here. The card is extremely clear on that, and you will see that combined with some of the other cards, it is telling me someone did something they shouldn’t have done. It doesn’t tell me if the death was an outright murder, but if it wasn’t then I would say that some kind of selfish actions, or significant neglect of duties, was a major contributor.

The Hanged Man reversed can indicate several things. First, I have to put it out there that it can represent a suicide. This is not always the case. If it does indicate that here, then at least one person did something – or multiple things – that directly contributed. I’m not talking about the people who loved him. I’m talking about the person or people who were somehow involved in his life and only cared about themselves.

Alternately, I asked the cards specifically about the who or the what. So the first potential meaning only applies if Alan represents the who in my question. A second possibility is that someone else represents the who and that can take this in a different direction. I’ve seen this card come up for people who have had problems with the law in the past and either have served prison time (or been in jail) or are doing so currently. It’s a card of negative patterns and just basically repeating the same – or similar – mistakes. Never learning and this will be strongly reiterated by the last card in this reading, which is Judgement reversed. We’ll get there.

Six of Swords is a card indicating the calm after a storm. It can indicate resting after a conflict or hard time. It can also refer to travel. So if someone is involved in this somehow, perhaps they traveled shortly thereafter. I’m not sure.

The Three of Cups is back. This would represent some kind of gathering, event, or social situation that either happened or was going to happen. The readings seem to want to emphasize this and so if a person reading this knows what it is referring to, there is some kind of connection there. Maybe the person or people he had problems with attended or was planning to? I don’t know, but whatever this represents specifically, it’s important.

The Four of Pentacles reversed is saying that the person responsible, directly or indirectly, has financial issues. They are either really struggling financially or they hoard the money they do have. If they are lacking financially then I would expect to see someone who spends more than they have, gambles, or just does not have financial stability for whatever reason – it is usually a reason caused by them though.

We had the Four of Cups reversed in the first reading. It has returned for this one as well. It’s a card about seizing an opportunity or becoming motivated to do something to reach a goal.

The Three of Pentacles reversed is showing a situation where there was or is poor collaboration. It can indicate people that have a shared goal or are working on something together (could be work, parenting, etc.) and it is just not going well. It’s not an effective partnership. There are real problems or were around the time of Alan’s passing.

The Five of Wands is a conflict card typically. It can represent anything from a minor argument to something major. It also indicates different purposes or agendas as the source of the conflict. There is a competitive feel to this card at times and so I don’t know if all this pertains to work or a relationship or what. I definitely think that someone who knew Alan well may be able to piece a lot of this together much better than I can.

Judgement reversed shows me someone who didn’t learn from their mistakes or from their past. They don’t want to be held accountable for the wrongs that they do, but they are forgetting that no amount of lying, or misleading can hide truths the universe wants known. There is a backstabbing and gossip element to this card sometimes too – putting the blame on others unfairly or making false accusations. If there is someone who had badmouthed Alan around the time of his death, or even to this day, I would look closely at that person in terms of questioning their motive for doing that.

Aaron Scott Johnson

Disappearance: 10/11/2020 (or 10/12/2020 in some reports)
Location: Rusk County, Wisconsin

Disclaimer: Tarot readings should not be taken as absolute claims that something did or did not happen. I only report the meaning of the cards, their relationships and the meaning in the context of those relationships, as well as intuitions I have based entirely on the cards presented in the reading. Tarot reading is an art and not a science.

Summary:

Aaron Scott Johnson was 34-years-old when he disappeared on October 11 of 2020. He was possibly last seen walking down a road in what appear to be shorts and a t-shirt.

Aaron Johnson reading 1

Reading

The first card answering the question regarding the circumstances surrounding Aaron’s disappearance is the Three of Swords. This is traditionally a heartbreak card that shows someone who is experiencing significant despair and depression. Often there is a sense of betrayal associated with this particular card, as well as feelings of alienation. If it pertains to romantic matters, it can indicate a person that has been cheated on.

The Two of Pentacles reversed is a card of imbalance that shows someone who is not able to manage their stress, responsibilities, and burdens. It is typically a card associated with financial problems or poorly managed financial and/or material matters.

The Three of Cups reversed is another card where someone feels alienated in terms of not feeling as though they have a lot of friends, or that there are significant problems associated with one or more relationships. It is another card that can indicate cheating. If a person has a vice, such as drinking or drugs, then it can indicate over-indulgence in this area in response to emotional distress.

The Ace of Pentacles reversed is again pointing at underlying money issues. It is a card that shows someone as having poor control over their finances and spending. It also pertains to planning and how a lack of planning can impede a person’s ability to achieve their goals or progress in a desired way.

The Eight of Swords shows Aaron as feeling completely trapped and helpless because of all of these circumstances. It is a card representing a kind of paralyzing fear or anxiety that comes with the sense of being imprisoned – either literally or within one’s own mind.

The Queen of Swords is showing me an adult female or motherly-figure that he might have felt tricked or used him in some way. A person in the Queen of Swords position is someone who makes decisions based on their own sense of logic and are not generally inclined to make emotional decisions. It can be someone who has experienced emotional hurt and is somewhat guarded or skeptical because of it. The Magician reversed either shows this person as conning or deceiving Aaron – or it shows him as perceiving them to have done that. The challenge with these readings is that it can be difficult sometimes to identify the reality of a situation when compared with a person’s perception of it. They aren’t always the same thing.

The Queen of Cups is another figure that has emerged. This probably represents an adult female as well, but someone who makes decisions intuitively and emotionally – very different from how someone in the Queen of Swords position might. If someone reading this, who knows Aaron, has an idea of who this person might be – it might make sense to see if they have any intuitions or gut feelings about what happened because people represented by this card are often uncannily accurate in these matters, potentially to the point of being or seeming psychic. This quality alone might give away the identity of this person.

The Knight of Cups reversed was pulled in response to the Queen of Cups and can indicate either a person or a particular type of situation/scenario. So if it is a person, it is likely a younger individual (teens or twenties) or someone who behaves as though they fall within this age range. It would represent someone who has behaved dishonestly and caused trouble. If the card is representative of a situation it can refer to some kind of offer that was retracted, a very short-lived romantic affair (like a one-night stand, or something along those lines), or in extreme cases an obsession. It can also, at times, represent both a person and a situation.

The Queen of Wands was pulled in connection with the Knight of Cups reversed. This is either a new person to the reading entirely, or it could represent someone already introduced who is behaving in a somewhat different manner in response to the circumstances. Such a person would be viewed as extroverted in a social sense, passionate, fiery, and at times hot-tempered.

The Six of Swords usually represents a point of calm – in which someone has experienced difficult circumstances or conflict and has reached a point where the fight has either died down temporarily or has abated. However, it can also signify someone running from their problems – or traveling a distance to escape them. In a spiritual sense, it refers to a person seeking (and probably receiving) some guidance from spirit guides.

The Tower is a card that shows a sudden upheaval or shocking event. I can’t tell if it is a culmination of all the prior emotional and financial stressors that have come up repeatedly within this reading, or if it was merely a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But something significant happened at this point. This card might possibly make more sense to someone who knows the details surrounding Aaron’s disappearance because it has specific meaning. To give some examples, it can signify someone suddenly learning their spouse wants a divorce, a major accident of some kind, a revelation that shatters the person’s reality as they know it, etc. However, if it was an accident or a situation that turned suddenly dangerous for Aaron, people who knew him might not have any awareness of it at all.

The Seven of Wands is the last card in this reading, and it shows Aaron as feeling though he was under attack or in a position where he felt he needed to defend himself or his territory. It’s often a card indicating a desire to protect some element of a person’s life – their beliefs, their home, their family, or themselves.

I’m hoping that the next reading fills in a few of the blanks that remain because I only feel as though I have a general grasp of his situation. As always, this is a tarot reading and you cannot take any of it as fact – in the absence of factual information supporting the details – but if there is any truth to it, Aaron was going through a really difficult time when he disappeared. The reading is showing someone who was struggling on multiple levels.

Question: Who or what caused the disappearance of Aaron Scott Johnson?

Aaron Johnson reading 2

Reading:

The Eight of Cups reversed often comes up when someone has a fear of letting go of something/someone and/or a fear of abandonment.

The Ten of Cups reversed indicates some difficulties in the home environment. So it seems as though he had conflict with someone from his family or within his close social circle. This can pertain to close friends or work associates as well, but it is a card showing disharmony and conflict that is rooted in emotional matters.

The King of Pentacles reversed typically represents a male adult who has significant financial problems. Sometimes they are due to gambling problems or other poor business or financial decisions. The Sun reversed, pulled in connection with the King of Pentacles reversed, indicates a situation where someone might have experienced some small successes, but was not quite meeting their own expectations. It could be that Aaron had some kind of financial or material dealings with this person – something that did not go as planned. Corruption and extortion are terms that are sometimes associated with the behaviors of a person represented by the King of Pentacles reversed.

The Hierophant is suggesting that Aaron was seeking some kind of advice or guidance in relation to his life and the challenges he was facing. It could indicate that he was trying to tap into some spiritual energy or cultivate a sense of spirituality in his life that he felt was missing.

The Nine of Swords shows Aaron as being in a situation where he felt a lot of stress and anxiety. If this card is accurately portraying his emotions at the time, he was likely experiencing a deep depression that he was struggling to cope with.

Justice reversed is a difficult card to translate in the context of this reading. In its reversed position, it usually refers to situations in which an injustice has occurred. However, it does not always tell me to whom – specifically – it is pointing. There is a sense of karma and retribution associated with this card. Another reason it is confusing is because it can refer to corruption that prevents justice from occurring or impedes accountability.

I got the Queen of Wands, combined with the Six of Swords, yet again. Obviously these two cards are really significant or else I would not have received them in two separate readings, in the exact same position. So there is someone with the energy of a mature, adult woman who is central to this. The Six of Swords is a card that indicates calm after a conflict, travel, or putting distance between a person and their problems – often by means of water, but not always.

But what’s interesting is the Two of Wands reversed is a card that usually shows a cancelation of plans – particularly as they pertain to travel. It can represent someone deciding to play it safe or someone who feels stuck in their situation to the point of not feeling as though they are capable of doing anything about it.

The Three of Pentacles reversed – the final card in this reading – is one that denotes a collaboration or cooperative effort that went wrong. The card is broad in that these efforts can include anything from raising a child with someone to a business arrangement. Most often, it represents a financial or career type of matter. It can indicate someone has repeated past mistakes and suffered as a result.

Question: What else do people need to know about Aaron Scott Johnson’s disappearance?

Knight of Swords (reversed) – Page of Wands (reversed) – 10 of Pentacles
Card pulled for the Knight of Swords (r): 2 of Pentacles (reversed)
Card pulled for the Page of Wands (r): Hierophant

Aaron Johnson reading 3

Reading

The Knight of Swords reversed is a person that has lost a sense of control in their life. Someone in this position might behave in ways that cause them serious problems. This is an intelligent person who feels they cannot effectively communicate their thoughts and feelings to others in a way that fully represents what they are experiencing. The Two of Pentacles reversed came up in the first reading as well. It’s coming up again which is telling me that it is a big piece to this puzzle. The card indicates a situation where a person feels overwhelmed by stress and anxiety. With this card, the distress is often rooted in poor financial decisions or excessive spending.

The Page of Wands reversed could indicate bad news that is received quickly (in person, by text, by email, etc.) and/or an overly impulsive or hasty response to a stressful situation. The Hierophant came up in the second reading and is back for this last one as well – indicating it has significant importance. This is a card that tends to represent traditions, such as marriage, religious or spiritual institutions, and/or a person that acts as an advisor or mentor. I don’t know why this card has come up a second time, but I do think people closer to Aaron might know. Was there some kind of spiritual or religious practice that Aaron might have been participating in? Was he known to seek advice or guidance from anyone in particular? If so, that person may have answers. I know this card is important here, but I cannot quite figure out the right way to interpret it in this case.

Finally, the Ten of Pentacles as the outcome card in this reading either indicates he was trying to figure out a way to gain financial independence or freedom from financial issues he was experiencing. However, sometimes it refers to family feuds or problems over money, deeds, inheritance, or other related issues. Again, this card might resonate more specifically with someone close to the situation.

Jennifer Kesse

Disappearance: 01/23/2006
Location: Orlando, Florida

Disclaimer: Tarot readings should not be taken as absolute claims that something did or did not happen. I only report the meaning of the cards, their relationships and the meaning in the context of those relationships, as well as intuitions I have based entirely on the cards presented in the reading. Tarot reading is an art and not a science.

Summary:

Jennifer Kesse was 24 years old when she reportedly vanished on January 23rd of 2006. It is unknown exactly what time she disappeared or what she was doing when it happened. Jennifer still remains missing.

Jennifer Kesse reading 1

Reading:

The first card in the reading that asks who or what caused Jennifer’s disappearance is death. The card usually depicts a major change, shift, or upheaval. Often it is one that allows for positive events to subsequently occur; however, there are cards later in the reading that point to a disruptive event that was harmful.

Sometimes tarot cards are literal in their depictions – especially when trying to clue into what might have happened to people and where these events occurred. In this case, the Chariot likely refers to either evidence associated with a vehicle, or the occurrence of events inside – or in association with – a vehicle.

The Empress is a card that usually represents abundance, fertility, and other positive elements of life and existence. In this case, it could speak to the motive in that Jennifer was an attractive woman and her femininity likely caused a lot of people to take notice of her.

The disappearance appears linked to an encounter that Jennifer had with an individual who demonstrated the attributes associated with the Knight of Cups card. These characteristics would be associated with a younger male adult who came across as sensitive, helpful, and gentlemanly. The card can also come up as an indication of a romantic proposal of sorts. Since the Knight of Wands reversed is the card pulled in connection with the Knight of Cups, it makes me think that one of two scenarios is likely here. The first possibility is that the person fitting the description of the Knight of Wands reversed had some kind of romantic interest in Jennifer that was communicated, but not well received. The reason I say this is because the Page of Swords reversed was pulled for the Knight of Wands reversed and this indicates bad news or a negative communication/interaction that might have occurred.

The second possibility is that there were two younger adult males involved in Jennifer’s disappearance. Just based on this first reading, I am unable to decide which scenario is the most probable. However, I am leaning in the direction of the first one. It is reading like someone made a romantic pass at Jennifer and was either getting back at her for her reaction or responded badly to her reaction.

The Ten of Cups reversed was pulled in connection with the cards described in the above two paragraphs. This is a card depicting an unhappy homelife. It can also indicate events that happened “close to home.” It might indicate that someone who lived near Jennifer was involved, or someone who had some kind of link to her home or family. There is the possibility the card refers to the other person’s homelife in terms of indicated it was a bad or abusive one.

The Lovers is coming up and given the rest of the reading, it seems to support the idea that someone was interested in Jennifer romantically and the motive behind all of this was linked to that attraction. The motive as in the decision/s someone made in this situation.

The Ten of Pentacles implies the desire of another person to catch the interest of, or potentially even marry, someone that they perceive as being in a higher social class. I’m not sure how else to explain it – other than to say in this context it reads like someone knew Jennifer was out of their league, but they were hoping the circumstances would pan out in their favor anyway.

The Emperor reversed is a male figure who abuses his position or power in a given situation. It is someone who is rigid and inflexible. A person exhibiting the attributes of this card is a control freak at heart and someone who needs to feel as though they have the control or power in a situation. This might explain how and why a romantic interest someone might have had in Jennifer could have gone so completely wrong.

The Knight of Swords may represent the male figure already introduced, or someone else. Either way, this is a person who is impatient and impulsive. Such a person would tend to come across as aggressive in their communications at times and also seem inflexible in terms of their views on different matters.

In these kinds of readings, if I get the Three of Wands in direct connection with a court card, it usually means that person traveled away from the area within a short period of time after the disappearance occurred. Often the travel is a long distance – so not something like a half hour away is what I’m trying to say here. Not usually, at least.

The Two of Swords indicates a situation where someone does not want to see the truth about a situation and are in a kind of denial about it. I don’t know who this card is meant to refer to, though I might have a better idea after the second reading.

Question: What circumstances caused the disappearance of Jennifer Kesse?

Row 1
Temperance (reversed) – 2 of Swords (reversed) – Lovers (reversed)

Row 2

Row 3
9 of Wands (reversed) – 5 of Wands – Death (reversed)

Jennifer Kesse reading 2

Reading

Temperance reversed is showing a conflict and/or an altercation. So it does seem to reiterate that there was an interaction that occurred between Jennifer and at least one other person that went poorly.

The Two of Swords reversed is a card that comes up when the truth about something or someone becomes evident. It can also denote a sense of fear or panic because it is a card that indicates lies have been exposed or that a situation/person is much more harmful than a person might have originally thought. In the last reading, we left off with the Two of Swords in its upright position – suggesting that someone was blind to the truth about something. Here, however, we see a scenario where a person can no longer ignore the obvious.

The Lovers reversed is the opposite of what came up in the prior reading. It is showing a situation between two people that has turned toxic or harmful. In the first reading, it appeared that someone was motivated to approach Jennifer or get her attention somehow because of their attraction to her. Here we see the person’s reaction when that hope, or intent does not materialize. The card also shows the feelings were not mutual. Often, this card also represents a very bad decision – one with significant consequences.

The Six of Wands reversed makes me think that a lot of this was ultimately about ego and the other person responded badly to being rejected. It denotes conflict stemming from those kinds of feelings or drives.

The Empress reversed could show how this person’s view of Jennifer suddenly flipped to one that was negative. Before she seemed the epitome of the ideal female, but now she is viewed as something else entirely. None of this has anything to do with the reality of who Jennifer was because it appears to be about someone else’s ego and inability to handle rejection. It might have other additional meaning here that I’m not quite picking up on.

The Eight of Pentacles reversed shows me someone who has a boring job that is not high paying and does not have really good prospects for the future. It can also represent someone who does not handle their finances well and lacks overall ambition. However, the flipside to this card and it’s unique positioning in this reading is it seems to be pointing out that the person’s job has some kind of significance. I don’t want to read too much into this; I just want to point it out.

The Nine of Wands reversed is telling me a few different things about this person involved. First, I doubt highly this was the first time they reacted really badly to a situation because it is indicating a tendency to repeat negative patterns of behavior. Second, it is reiterating what was expressed with the first reading and the Emperor reversed: this person would not back down. They were rigid in their thinking and intent on being “right.”

The Five of Wands is another conflict card that is showing this as being rooted in a situation where two or more people did not have a meeting of the minds. There might be more than one other person involved in all this, but there is one primary player and that is who these readings seem to have focused on. But the Five of Wands might point to multiple people knowing and having different feelings about keeping that knowledge to themselves. They might also have different reasons for hiding their knowledge. If that’s the case, my hope is one of them will talk and share what they know. It definitely feels like more than one person has at least some knowledge about all of this – if not some involvement that would be incriminating.

Death reversed is another card that is saying to me the person involved – or the main person, because I truly cannot get a feel for whether there were others – did not, and has not, learned from past mistakes. With this much time having passed, I would not be surprised if this person has harmed other people and possibly even done prison time. This is not someone who learned their lesson and they probably do not feel they were in error either.

I don’t know what evidence the police might have regarding this case. I would look for evidence associated with her vehicle (because of the Chariot card that came up early on). If there are prints or DNA, it would be worth periodically running them because the readings come across like this person has or will do prison time for something. So I’m hoping the police have some kind of evidence that maybe did not yield any results in the past but might now or in the coming years.

Jessica Stacks

Disappearance: 01/01/2021
Location: New Albany, Mississippi

Disclaimer: Tarot readings should not be taken as absolute claims that something did or did not happen. I only report the meaning of the cards, their relationships and the meaning in the context of those relationships, as well as intuitions I have based entirely on the cards presented in the reading. Tarot reading is an art and not a science.

Summary:

Jessica Nicole Stacks reportedly disappeared after getting off a boat she had gotten onto with a boyfriend. He said that she got out of the boat and starting walking toward the highway. Jessica has not been seen since.

Question: Who or what caused the disappearance of Jessica Stacks?

Row 1
Temperance (reversed) – 2 of Wands (reversed) – The Wheel (reversed)

Row 2
King of Swords – 6 of Swords – Page of Cups
Card pulled for the King of Swords: 3 of Cups
Card pulled for the Page of Cups: 7 of Cups (reversed)

Row 3
2 of Cups – 2 of Swords – The Fool (reversed)

Jessica Stacks reading 1

Reading:

The reading about who or what caused Jessica’s disappearance begins with Temperance reversed. The two primary options with this card, in a situation where someone has gone missing, include disharmony or conflict and the possibility of overindulgence in terms of alcohol or other things of that nature. Because the reading is beginning with this card, I would say it’s an important piece of the puzzle in terms of what happened to her.

The Two of Wands reversed indicates poor planning, or a lack of planning. It can also represent a situation where a person feels they have limited options if they are trying to decide about something.

The Wheel of Fortune reversed signifies circumstances shrouded in bad luck and unfortunate events, or some kind of upheaval, that likely fell outside of Jessica’s immediate control.

The King of Swords has come up as an older male individual (or someone who has those attributes and mannerisms) who appears to have been with her at the time of her disappearance. The Three of Cups is the card pulled in connection with it and it is usually associated with celebrations or happy social occasions. It is probably referencing the proximity of time in terms of this occurring at some point on New Years Day morning, but I’m not sure.

The Six of Swords is often a travel card. It can also represent a time of calm after there has been conflict, or a time when people are beginning to move forward after a time of disruption or stagnation. It could refer to Jessica being on a boat, but it doesn’t necessarily suggest that the story about her getting off the boat and going off on her own is accurate. It more just suggests that this represents a time in which the conflict or problems died down, and possible travel from one location to another of some kind – potentially by water or boat, but this is not a certainty with this card. Sometimes it refers to the period of time after a major conflict.

The Page of Cups is an interesting card to come up because it’s one I often see when someone proposes marriage or there is some kind of positive news relating to a relationship or family. However, the Seven of Cups reversed is suggesting the possibility that it might not have been well received – or that in Jessica’s mind, it might have felt as though she didn’t have a lot of options or better options. By contrast, it sometimes simply points to poor decision-making.

The Two of Cups is another card pointing to a relationship that Jessica had with someone (likely the King of Swords person, since he was someone introduced a little into the reading). The card usually represents a close relationship or connection. Some of these cards are reading like Jessica was not as sure about the relationship – like she was having misgivings about it or just had a different perspective on it than the person in the King position.

The Two of Swords card is another one that seems to show Jessica as potentially not being on exactly the same page as the King of Swords individual. First, the Two of Swords can be a card where someone is in denial about something. Second, it can represent someone who wants time to delve inward and think about their situation before they make decisions. It’s a card that comes up when someone feels they have no good options to choose from and so they are uncomfortable making a choice.

The Fool reversed is a card depicting poor decision making – where someone acts in a way that is careless or does not really account for all the possible risks inherent in a situation. There can also be negligence with this card.

So the only other person this reading appears to have focused in on was the individual represented by the King of Swords card which is meant to answer the question as to who or what caused her disappearance. I feel like we got a little bit of a glimpse into the why as well; however, I would like to do a second reading and see what more I can get.

Question: What circumstances caused the disappearance of Jessica Stacks?

Jessica Stacks reading 2

Reading

Straight away we have the Moon. This is saying that there’s more to this story than is being told. People are keeping secrets and there are hidden elements that have not fully been uncovered. There could be multiple people with information about what really happened and there is a sense of hidden or inherent danger in the situation, though I don’t really understand what that’s about just yet.

The Ace of Swords is assertive in that it represents a situation where a person clings to their truth or is willing to articulate what it is they want or need. Jessica was apparently having problems or conflicts with at least one other person – the person mentioned in the prior reading – and she was trying to make the right decision about it all.

The Seven of Wands reversed may indicate someone who feels defeated or does not feel as though they have enough power or control to fully defend themselves. Perhaps they feel a loss of control, or they feel as though they don’t have the energy or stamina to hold their ground. The Wands is a suit of action and so it could represent an actual physical altercation or fight, though it is hard to say for sure just based on these readings. Like I always say, these are tarot readings. Not everything is going to be accurate, and I can misinterpret what cards are trying to tell me at times as well.

The Knight of Wands came up as a card representing a person with masculine traits or attributes. Such a person might have a quick temper and come across as passionate about different aspects of life. The Ten of Wands reversed is showing this person as feeling overwhelmed and faced with an insurmountable obstacle – someone who feels resigned to their fate, for whatever reason. It kind of feels like this is another person with some after-the-fact kind of involvement or knowledge. It reads like someone else who was pulled into it and felt like it brought a significant amount of stress on them – more burden than they felt they should have, basically.

Death reversed is showing me that there was a lack of harmony between the person indicated by at least one person and Jessica. It’s a card that can come up when people breakup, or are on the verge of it, or when a relationship has serious problems but one or both people fear change too much to leave it behind. Sometimes an attempt to break up with someone can trigger negative events or violence. I don’t know if that’s the case here but it reads as a possibility.

The Page of Cups has returned for this reading and again seems to represent some kind of proposal or positive news that must have had a significant influence on the situation because it has come up in two separate readings now. The Queen of Cups reversed is the card pulled in direct connection with the Page and so there is this sense that the proposal or information was given to Jessica. It is coming up as upright in both readings which means that on its face, it’s something positive and good. However, Jessica might not have viewed it that way or reacted in a way that was expected. This part is hard to get a clear picture of right now.

The Knight of Swords reversed was pulled for the Queen reversed card and this is most likely to represent one of two things (and I honestly don’t know which one is more likely since I have so little background information on this): 1) it might represent a side to the boyfriend or significant other that was acting as a kind of obstacle in terms of making Jessica reluctant to move forward with whatever was offered or proposed, or 2) it could represent another person entirely that Jessica felt stood between her and the person who has appeared in both readings. The Star is the outcome that Jessica would have hoped to achieve, or the one she was basing her decisions on. And whoever the person was in the Knight of Swords reversed position (the boyfriend or someone else entirely) stood in the way of that or was a reason why a positive outcome might now happen.

Somehow, it does feel like there were at least three people involved or who had direct knowledge about what happened (including Jessica). I cannot totally make sense of this though.

The King of Wands reversed is someone who demonstrates the more negative or aggressive elements of the Wand court cards, such as a potential for recklessness, a quick or hot temper, etc. Again, this comes across as an older male versus the Knight that is either a younger male or someone who comes across as immature for their age. The Four of Swords came up in connection with this older person and denotes a strong sense of anxiety, fear, and mental overload. It is a card showing that someone is seeking to rest or recuperate after a significant conflict or series of battles.

The Six of Pentacles reversed shows an inequity between the people involved. It’s a card that can represent someone giving gifts or support, with strings attached, or someone who yields power and control in a situation because they have more material or monetary resources than the other. There also might be a monetary aspect of all this that I’m not picking up on. It could be someone getting money to keep quiet or someone who feels like they must keep quiet in the interest of a shared business or endeavor, or something along those lines.

The Six of Wands reversed is a situation where someone feels as though they have failed to achieve what they wanted, and they feel they are at a total disadvantage. I am included to read this as Jessica’s final positioning in the reading, but it could also pertain to someone who has knowledge or involvement in what happened to her and perhaps did not intend for it to go quite the way it did. There are elements in other parts of these readings that point to poor planning and reckless behavior, so it is not coming across as a meticulously planned situation.

The readings make me think that at least one person had a hand in her death, and they are keeping secrets about it. I’m inclined to think there is another person with knowledge as well, but I’m not as confident about that part.

Aubrey Dameron

Disappearance: 03/09/2019
Location: Grove, Oklahoma

Disclaimer: Tarot readings should not be taken as absolute claims that something did or did not happen. I only report the meaning of the cards, their relationships and the meaning in the context of those relationships, as well as intuitions I have based entirely on the cards presented in the reading. Tarot reading is an art and not a science.

Summary:

Aubrey Dameron left her home in Grove, Oklahoma in the early morning hours of March 9th of 2019. She was 25 years old at the time. She has not been seen since.

Question: Who or what caused Aubrey Dameron’s disappearance?

Row 1
The Emperor – Queen of Swords (reversed) – The Hermit
Card pulled for the Emperor: 6 of Cups
Card pulled for the Queen of Swords (r): 8 of Pentacles

Row 2
10 of Pentacles (reversed) – Temperance (reversed) – 7 of Cups (reversed)

Row 3
9 of Pentacles – Ace of Pentacles (reversed) – 3 of Pentacles (reversed)

Reading:

In response to the question about who or what was involved in Aubrey’s disappearance, the reading begins with the Emperor. This is a card that typically depicts a male father-type figure. The Six of Cups usually shows a person who is spending a lot of time thinking about the past – typically about situations or feelings pertaining to their childhood. It can represent positive or negative memories, and in some cases may indicate a person who experienced abuse as a child.

The Queen of Swords reversed represents a person or energy that comes across as feminine and mature in terms of age or behavior. In its reversed position, the negative attributes associated with the card are emphasized. This is a person who experiences difficulty when trying to communicate, might tend to rush to judgement, and comes across as bitter. The Eight of Pentacles, pulled in relation to this person, shows someone focusing on a job or a task and shows a lot of attention to details. If this person is a parental figure, the Queen of Swords reversed could point to someone who is or has been kind of an absent mom.

With regard to the father figure card, and the Queen reversed which could depict a type of motherly-figure, I’m not saying her own family is involved. These cards could merely point to people that fulfill these types of roles in their day-to-day life. Their descriptions might resonate with someone close to this situation.

The Hermit seems to convey that at least one of the people involved is keeping to themselves. I don’t know if this is the norm for them, but they were (and possibly still are) going through a time of introspection.

The Ten of Pentacles reversed is a card that comes up when a person is experiencing family-related feuding or conflict. It can also mean that a person is struggling with money – possibly owes a lot of debt. In some instances, it depicts a relationship that is either on the brink of ending or one that has recently ended.

Temperance reversed is a card that comes up when there is a significant conflict or imbalance. In its upright position it can point to harmonious and positive relationships, but reversed it represents the opposite. It can also suggest a situation where someone overindulges in something. Another negative aspect of this positioning is that it can show someone as behaving in a way that is antagonizing.

The Seven of Cups reversed shows at least one person making poor choices. On one hand, the person might have felt they did not have a lot of options. On the other, they might have responded badly to something. The card depicts a sense of feeling as though one is kind of trapped.

The Nine of Pentacles is a more positive card that suggests that someone involved has more money than another person. I don’t know if the person depicted in the Emperor card was going through a divorce or some kind of situation that did not end well for them financially or what. It appears there are two people somehow linked to what happened to Aubrey, but it is not showing them as getting along or having a healthy relationship and so it is difficult to work out exactly what might have been happening here.

The Ace of Pentacles reversed is again showing a bad money situation. I don’t know how or why it is related to Aubrey’s disappearance, but it is definitely a factor.

Finally, the Three of Pentacles reversed is another card pointing to a partnership or a collaboration that went wrong. Again, I don’t understand yet how Aubrey was involved in all this, but it reads like at least three people – including Aubrey – have direct knowledge about what occurred. And there are monetary or material aspects to this situation that I can’t quite pinpoint.

Question: What circumstances caused Aubrey Dameron’s disappearance?

Row 1
3 of Swords (reversed) – 8 of Cups (reversed) – The Hierophant (reversed)

Row 2
9 of Cups (reversed) – Knight of Swords – 4 of Swords
Card pulled for the Knight of Swords: 10 of Pentacles

Row 3
Knight of Wands (reversed) – 7 of Wands – Page of Swords (reversed)
Card pulled for the Knight of Wands (r): 10 of Swords (reversed)
Card pulled for the Page of Swords (r): 6 of Cups (reversed)

Reading

The Three of Swords reversed is a card showing someone getting over a painful breakup or situation. It depicts them as being in the process of moving on. I don’t know why the reading is starting with this aspect, but maybe it could be emphasizing this for a reason.

The Eight of Cups reversed is a situation where Aubrey might have had some misgivings about a person or a situation, and felt like she should walk away from them, but didn’t – or maybe kept some ties to because she wasn’t ready to completely let go. Often the reason is because the person is afraid to take that step, or they are afraid of the change it will bring. Other times it is because they are fearful about possible negative consequences.

The Hierophant reversed is a card that could indicate someone was involved who was giving her advice, or acting as though they were someone she could trust and confide in. Another facet to this card is that it can depict going against traditional or societal norms. It could indicate that whoever was involved was at least, in part, motivated by her being transgender, and reportedly in the process of transitioning, since the card sometimes comes up when someone is being judged based on an aspect of their life or lifestyle.

The Nine of Cups reversed is a card that shows a miserable type of situation in which events turn bad.

The Knight of Swords is a person who comes across as younger. If they are older then they probably come across as immature for their age. An important characteristic associated with this card is that it often represents a person who is stubborn and won’t let go of their way of thinking. They don’t like to lose an argument. The Ten of Pentacles, in relation to this person, shows someone motivated primarily by monetary or material matters. It might represent a person who marries for the money or who makes decisions based on their perception that it might have some kind of financial benefit.

The Four of Swords is a card that conveys fear and anxiety. It shows a person who needs rest because a situation or problem has overwhelmed them. It can also suggest a person who seeks advice or counseling from someone.

The Knight of Wands reversed shows someone acting in a way that is reckless and potentially violent. The Ten of Swords reversed indicates that Aubrey might have tried to defend herself against things the person said or did, but it can indicate a situation that has reached rock bottom.

The Seven of Wands is someone who stands up for their beliefs. It is also a card that shows someone as feeling they are under attack. It isn’t a situation where a person just gives in and admits defeat, but rather it usually represents someone trying to stand their ground.

The Page of Swords reversed could indicate bad news, or delays in finding answers. It might also represent a person who knows more than they are saying. It can also point to gossip and malicious things that someone is saying. These are factors to pay attention to because the cards seem to want to emphasize that what people say – or don’t say – might give a lot more away about their involvement than they realize. Sometimes it depicts someone who says too much and admits their involvement to one or more people.

The last card, connected to the Page reversed, is the Six of Cups reversed. The first reading pointed to someone involved who might have a history of childhood abuse or trauma. This card is reiterating the same message, except in a reversed position. I don’t know if the information about the abuse is meant to clue us in as to why they did whatever it is they did here, or if it is putting that out there as a clue to their identity. Again, someone close to Aubrey and this entire situation is probably going to be able to understand the meaning behind these cards better than I can – given that I have no direct involvement.

The readings do not come across as the main person or people being completely unknown to Aubrey. There is also a sense that they don’t live too far away. However, these kinds of details are not made entirely clear in the reading so I’m not putting any emphasis on them at this time. The outcome is coming across as negative; however, this is a tarot reading and so it should not be taken as fact or be relied upon to determine a person’s fate.

I want to point out that there are so many cards pointing to some kind of monetary or material motive here. I don’t know what to make of them but there were enough of these cards that I feel I should point them out, despite not really understanding how they play a role in all this specifically.

Michael Vaughan

Disappearance: 07/27/2021
Location: Fruitland, Idaho

Disclaimer: Tarot readings should not be taken as absolute claims that something did or did not happen. I only report the meaning of the cards, their relationships and the meaning in the context of those relationships, as well as intuitions I have based entirely on the cards presented in the reading. Tarot reading is an art and not a science.

Summary:

Michael Vaughan, whose nickname was “Monkey”, disappeared from his neighborhood on July 27th of 2021 at the age of five.

Question: Who or what caused Michael Vaughan’s disappearance?

Row 1
The High Priestess – Strength (reversed) – 7 of Wands (reversed)

Row 2
8 of Wands – 2 of Swords (reversed) – 9 of Cups

Row 3
6 of Wands – Queen of Cups – The Chariot
Card pulled for the Queen of Cups: The Fool

Reading:

The High Priestess is referring to intuition and hidden knowledge – potentially on a subconscious level. It suggests people directly involved in looking for him should listen to their gut feelings because they may be receiving assistance or guidance in terms of where he is or how they may find him.

Strength reversed shows a situation where Michael was overcome physically and emotionally.

The Seven of Wands reversed is related to the above card in that it represents someone who is giving up or admitting defeat.

The Eight of Wands depicts a situation that unfolded very quickly. So the events happened fast.

The Two of Swords reversed is suggesting that the truth about what happened will be exposed – potentially sooner rather than later if one factors in the speed in which things upfold as communicated by the Eight of Wands. This card also warns of lies being exposed so it does appear the truth will come out about this situation, and anyone involved.

The Nine of Cups, and the subsequent Six of Wands, are strange – but interesting – cards to appear in this particular reading. The Nine of Cups refers to emotions and the sense that someone has that they have achieved success and circumstances are going their way. It can also point to someone who seeks fame or attention for their accomplishments.

The Six of Wands is a similar card in some ways, because it refers to someone who gets recognition and praise for things that they do. It depicts a person that others might view as a kind of leader and someone who does positive things. Sometimes – but not always – it can refer to someone who inserts themselves into an investigation by acting as though they are helping, when their motives are really to try to cast suspicion elsewhere or get inside details about what the police are doing. This is a tarot card reading, and not everything in it is going to be accurate or interpreted correctly on my end, but I’m throwing that out as a possibility.

The Queen of Cups is showing a person who is likely an adult and demonstrates feminine types of attributes. Such a person is sensitive emotionally and can be easily wounded by criticism or harsh words. The Fool is the card I pulled in connection with the Queen. This could be conveying one of two things. The first is the possibility that Michael was lured away by this person, or someone connected to them directly, with the promise of an adventure or something along those lines. It could show him as going along and not questioning the situation at the time – blindly trusting, essentially. The second possibility is that the Fool refers to the person in the Queen position and reflects their motives – kidnapping a child because they want to have a family or something more nefarious, depending on other factors.

The last card is the Chariot. This card denotes movement and travel. It can sometimes represent transportation by vehicle and so it could be trying to drive home the point that he was taken quickly, by vehicle. The speed in which everything happened is probably complicating the investigation.

Question: What is happening with Michael Vaughan currently?

Row 1
The World (reversed) – 4 of Cups (reversed) – Knight of Wands (reversed)
Card pulled for the Knight of Wands (r): 5 of Cups (reversed)

Row 2
The Lovers (reversed) – 6 of Cups (reversed) – Ace of Cups

Row 3
2 of Wands – Magician (reversed) – King of Swords (reversed)
Card pulled for the King of Swords (r): 3 of Swords (reversed)

Reading

The World reversed suggests partial success and partial failure. Everything didn’t go exactly as planned.

The Four of Cups reversed is one where one or more people involved are trying to take advantage of possible opportunities and move beyond feelings pertaining to regret or not achieving all goals.

The Knight of Wands reversed is depicting a younger male energy (late teens, twenties, or thereabout) who might simply be an older person who acts immature for their age. However, this is someone who makes decisions impulsively and recklessly – something that has created some issues for the person or people involved.

The Five of Cups reversed, pulled in relation to the Knight reversed card, is showing someone who was recently experiencing grief or emotional upset, but has made it a point to begin moving on and letting go of the sadness or sorrow they recently felt.

The Lovers reversed could stand for a poor decision that is impacting all of this, or it can represent a relationship that is going wrong or went wrong recently. It could depict fighting or conflict that is occurring because of this situation.

The Six of Cups reversed shows someone trying to let go of the past. It might also point to childhood issues or abuse in someone’s life that is factoring into all of this somehow – even if only on a limited basis.

The Ace of Cups represents new beginnings and new relationships. I have no way of knowing if this is suggesting that Michael has entered into these because of his situation, or if it pertaining to the person or people involved.

The Two of Wands can show a person who is taking concrete steps toward a goal. The person or people are moving beyond merely planning or talking about possibilities. It can also indicate travel or a feeling of restlessness. People represented by this card might feel the urge to travel or move suddenly. It can also be a card of cooperation and so it does feel like more than one person is involved here. It is coming across like there are at least two people.

The Magician reversed is often a person who manipulates people and lies. Sometimes these people accomplish their goals by tricking people or creating a false sense of reality. It might link back to one or more people appearing to try to help with the case, but it is hard to know for sure.

The King of Swords reversed is coming through as an older and more mature (in terms of age and life experience) male. However, the age could vary widely in reality. This person manipulates situations and facts to get their way.

The Three of Swords reversed was pulled in connection with the King reversed. Either it is showing someone who is moving beyond a period of heartbreak or grief, or it is someone who is using their lies and manipulation to get someone else to overcome their pain or sadness.

I really don’t have a clear indication of Michael’s current status. Mostly, if at all accurate, the cards are giving more of a sense of who did it. They also seem to rule some people out. For example, I didn’t see anything pointing to the parents.

Jennifer Caridad

Disappearance: 08/08/2021
Location: Yakima, Washington

Disclaimer: Tarot readings should not be taken as absolute claims that something did or did not happen. I only report the meaning of the cards, their relationships and the meaning in the context of those relationships, as well as intuitions I have based entirely on the cards presented in the reading. Tarot reading is an art and not a science.

Question: What circumstances caused the disappearance of Jennifer Caridad?

Card pulled for the Queen of Pentacles (r): Ace of Wands (reversed)

Row 3

Card pulled for the Empress: The Fool (reversed)

Jennifer Caridad reading 1

Summary:

Jennifer Caridad reportedly disappeared on August 8th. Her car was found in a lake on the following day, but there has been no sign of Jennifer and no clear answers about what happened to her.

Reading

The Queen of Wands is showing up as the first card and depicts Jennifer as a mature for her age, outgoing, and charismatic person. The Two of Pentacles reversed shows her as having been in a situation where she felt overwhelmed. There were potentially some financial issues or problems relating to a material matter.

The Five of Wands conveys that she was in a situation where there were disagreements and arguments – at least one of which was significant to the question asking what happened to Jennifer. The Eight of Wands reversed shows that the situation, for Jennifer, came to a halt or slowed down significantly due to a problem or a delay. This card can come up in situations where a person feels a sense of panic. The people involved in this situation are more likely to make impulsive decisions that may help or hinder them.

The Lovers reversed is the cards relaying to me that her disappearance is associated with someone she knows, or knew, and it is suggesting the relationship was romantic in nature. The card in its reversed position depicts a situation where two people are at odds. It’s suggesting that poor decision-making occurred in relation to these conflicts as well.

The Nine of Cups is a positive card that might show what Jennifer had been hoping to get out of the relationship. Initially, the whole situation may have felt like it could lead to positive things in her life.

The Queen of Pentacles reversed could represent a third party involved in all of this somehow. The Ace of Wands reversed is coming up in connection with the Queen reversed card and may point to someone receiving bad or unwanted news that would have impacted someone negatively. I don’t know if this news pertained to the person depicted as the Queen reversed or if it was related to Jennifer specifically. The Five of Wands, that appeared earlier in the reading, is also a card that can represent situations where there is competition and so it makes me wonder if there was another woman involved – such as an ex-girlfriend, a present girlfriend, a wife, or someone interested in having a relationship with the person Jennifer was involved with.

The Ace of Swords is a card that comes up for people who are realizing a truth or are asserting their own. It’s a card that can provoke decision-making since it points to a person achieving some degree of clarity about a person or problem.

The Four of Swords reversed almost makes me think that Jennifer might have tried to break it off with the other person associated with the Lovers reversed card. It is a card of awakening and moving toward healing from something. I don’t know what the situation was here but there were definitely factors complicating the relationship that Jennifer would have been wary about around the time of her disappearance.

The Empress is a card that I have seen come up at the end of various readings like this one. I have started to pull a second card in relation to this one since I cannot always make sense of what it means in this particular part of the reading. The Empress could point to a pregnancy, but I’m hesitant to assign a meaning like that without more knowledge about Jennifer’s situation. I pulled the Fool reversed as a card linked to the Empress and this is one that shows a person making poor judgement or acting recklessly. Sometimes it merely depicts a person who is naïve and cannot see the danger or trouble inherent in a situation.

I cannot rule out the possibility that a woman was not somehow involved in all this because the conflict does appear to be related to these factors, though there is no way for me to know for sure as I am unfamiliar with the situation and do not know details at this time.

Question: Who or what caused Jennifer Caridad’s disappearance?

Row 1
Knight of Wands (reversed) – Two of Swords – 5 of Wands (reversed)
Card pulled for the Knight of Wands (r): Two of Cups (reversed)

Row 2
10 of Cups – 9 of Swords (reversed) – Hierophant

Row 3
5 of Pentacles (reversed) – The Star – 5 of Swords (reversed)

Jennifer Caridad reading 2

Reading:

As I always say, this is just a tarot reading and it should never be taken in place of facts. I do want to point out that this second reading, asking who was involved in Jennifer’s disappearance, has definitely clarified for me that this was related to a romantic relationship she was either in, or one that she had gotten out of recently.

The Knight of Wands reversed can represent a sketchy type of person who has a volatile temper, gets jealous easily, and in some cases can be violent or abusive. At a minimum, a relationship with someone who generally demonstrates these attributes would be considered toxic. I pulled the Two of Cups reversed which shows a romantic partnership that either ended recently or was in the process of ending when Jennifer disappeared. This could be a case where this person lashed out because she made a move to extricate herself from the situation. It is hard to know for sure. However, the cards are definitely pointing solidly in the direction of this other person who was – at one time at least – romantically involved or interested in Jennifer.

The Two of Swords shows Jennifer as having been in a situation where she did not feel she had any good choices. I think she knew that the person was bad for her, but she also didn’t want to fully acknowledge or deal with the challenges that would come from completely writing them off. I have this sense that she felt kind of trapped and unsure about what to do.

The Five of Wands reversed usually depicts a situation in which a conflict ends. Under normal circumstances, it usually means the people worked it all out or called a truce. However, it can also convey a conflict that ended forcefully.

The Ten of Cups is another card that is saying to me that her disappearance was caused by someone she knew well. It was a close to home situation. I don’t know if she lived with this man or what the situation was there, but none of this is reading like a stranger was the primary perpetrator. I say perpetrator because it feels like something bad happened, but in truth there is always the possibility that Jennifer fled to get away from someone. I don’t see cards that are compelling me to lean toward that possibility, but I don’t want to dismiss it entirely.

Another element of the Ten of Cups that I want to point out is that it shows Jennifer as having close family connections. It is hard to see her just walking away from her family and not telling them why she was doing it. The bonds feel tight with regard to her actual family, is what I’m trying to explain here. Every family has its issues, but I’m not seeing anything negative here that would have contributed in any way to what may have happened to Jennifer. It’s “close to home” so to speak, but more in a non-familial relationship way.

The Nine of Swords reversed is reiterating that in Jennifer’s mind, she was trying to make plans to improve the entire situation. I don’t think this was something she could easily walk away from, and it feels like she recognized this fact. She was probably experiencing a lot of stress and anxiety.

The Hierophant is a card that can be taken a few ways. On one hand, it’s a card pointing to institutions and/or spirituality. It can pertain to ethical and moral matters too. In some situations, it is also a card conveying forgiveness for one’s past transgressions. I’m not sure what to do with this card here but I think it’s spiritual in nature due to the Five of Pentacles reversed. While the upright position of the Five of Pentacles can show someone who is disconnected from their spirituality or spiritual beliefs, the reversed position can convey the opposite. It’s also a card associated with someone who is taking steps to overcome difficult situations. I think there were money factors involved in all of this, but I can’t make sense of how or why. Someone close to Jennifer might have those answers and this might resonate with them.

The Star suggests hope in terms of identifying who is responsible for her disappearance and bringing them to justice. Again, there is always the possibility that Jennifer fled and is hiding out somewhere. I’m just not seeing any cards that are pointing me solidly in that kind of direction. Jennifer is coming through as a warm and caring person. If she fled, she would have told people she cared about, and they would have probably assisted her once they understood her situation. But like I said before, I’m not ready to totally rule it out.

The Five of Swords reversed is showing me a conclusion to all this so the person will be caught, and I do think prosecution will be successful. Or at least, that is how this reading is coming across to me. I think a lot more information will come out and it will help people make more sense out of what has happened.

LaDexter Pelt

Disappearance: 11/04/2021
Location: Sacramento, California region

Disclaimer: Tarot readings should not be taken as absolute claims that something did or did not happen. I only report the meaning of the cards, their relationships and the meaning in the context of those relationships, as well as intuitions I have based entirely on the cards presented in the reading. When/if I say that something happened, in any part of a reading description, I mean that is what I am interpreting from the cards, their positions, and other related factors. Tarot reading is an art and not a science.

Question: What happened to LaDexter Pelt?

Row 1
Judgement (reversed) – The Hermit – Knight of Swords
Card pulled for the Knight of Swords: High Priestess

Row 2
Justice (reversed) – 2 of Wands – 8 of Wands (reversed)

Row 3
Knight of Pentacles – Ace of Swords (reversed) – 5 of Wands (reversed)
Card pulled for the Knight of Pentacles: 7 of Cups (reversed)

LaDexter Pelt reading 1

Summary:

LaDexter Pelt was apparently traveling with a younger man named John Dubose. They traveled from Alabama to California. They were believed to be in the general Sacramento area when both men ceased to answer their phone or respond to messages.

Reading

It appears there was a conflict. I don’t know if it was between LaDexter and the person he traveled with, John Dubose. It has a feel that is more sudden and reads more like an encounter that one or both had with someone.

Judgement reversed is a card that suggests that a hasty decision might have been made. There is also an element of self-doubt and a potential lack of situational awareness. It is like LaDexter walked into a situation without a full understanding of what he might be getting into. Another thing to consider with Judgement reversed is the concept of repeating patterns of behavior. It comes up a lot when people keep making some of the same mistakes over and over again, despite knowing there are consequences and that it could end badly for them.

The Hermit can point to someone withdrawing temporarily and/or taking a moment to reflect on themselves or their situation. It could also depict the two men parting ways – willingly or unwillingly.

The Knight of Swords reflects a fast-moving person or situation. The card is equated with impulsiveness and an unwillingness to bend on one’s position in an argument or fight. I pulled the High Priestess in relation to the Knight card, and it is suggesting that there is more to the situation or circumstances that has yet to be revealed. People close to the situation should tune into their gut feelings because this card may also point to hidden or subconscious knowledge that a person has that may answer important questions. There’s a lot more to this than I think may appear on the surface. It runs deeper than it might initially seem.

Justice reversed often comes up in circumstances that are fundamentally unfair or unjust. It comes up when there is at least one person involved who does not want to take responsibility for their actions. Such a person might be inclined to blame others.

The Two of Wands can show a situation where there is more than one path they can take. It could pair with the Hermit in that it can sometimes depict a person who has withdrawn from others to take time to think about things or to decide about something. It’s a card where someone is determining their longer-term goals to figure out what steps are needed to accomplish them.

The Eight of Wands reversed indicates a situation that may have come to a stop. For example, it can come up if a person has planned to take a trip and then needed to cancel or had circumstances that occurred to delay or prevent it from happening. So it is reading as though LaDexter had continued plans, but they were halted – even if only temporarily. If it pertains to a confrontation, it is showing a situation where something happened to put it to an end.

The Knight of Pentacles depicts a person who was or is working toward making steady progress toward a goal. However, the Seven of Cups reversed can indicate a person who makes poor choices or someone who gets in a situation where they now feel trapped. It can represent a reality check. Everything seemed to be moving along fine and then it wasn’t. Something happened.

The Ace of Swords reversed is another card that points to a wrong decision. It can indicate missed opportunities to do something and bad news in the form of delays. Often, the person doesn’t realize they have missed chances to get out of a situation or that they have made a choice that will cause them more harm than good.

The Five of Wands reversed is meant to show the end of a struggle. The problem with this card is that while it can point to favorable solutions, there are some other cards in this reading that make it difficult to determine if it is a positive or negative depiction of events. It’s positioning at the end presents a lot more questions than any of this reading even came close to answering.

Question: Who or what caused the disappearance of LaDexter Pelt?

Row 1
Knight of Cups (reversed) – 6 of Wands (reversed) – 9 of Wands
Card pulled for the Knight of Cups (r): 3 of Swords

Row 2
The Tower – Strength (reversed) – 2 of Swords

Row 3
Knight of Wands (reversed) – Temperance (reversed) – The Empress
Card pulled for the Knight of Wands (r): Justice (reversed)

LaDexter Pelt reading 2

Reading:

Who did LaDexter and his friend travel to meet? Why were they in that particular area? You’ll see why I’m asking pretty soon. Again, this is merely a tarot reading and so nothing in it should be taken as fact.

The Knight of Cups reversed, combined with the Three of Swords, is depicting a situation where someone got their heart broken. While it does often pertain to romantic love, neither card is limited to that context. The Knight reversed appears to show a person who is dishonest, potentially obsessive, and moody. A concerning aspect of the Three of Swords here is that it can also be a card of disillusionment – when someone sees a truth about another and it’s ugly. So what were the circumstances of this trip and who exactly were they intended to meet?

The Six of Wands reversed shows someone who feels they are not receiving positive attention or recognition. It’s meaning could vary somewhat – depending on how LaDexter knew or knows the person in the Knight reversed position. I have had it come up in readings where an attempt to achieve an objective ultimately failed, and the person who experienced that failure experienced a fall from grace.

The Nine of Wands is conveying that even though a problem or situation was taking a turn for the worse, LaDexter might have sought to persevere anyway. It’s a card of last stands.

The Tower is typically associated with unexpected and drastic change. It can represent a crisis or a complete upheaval in a person’s life. I really cannot underestimate the power of this card because it does not represent a minor change or event.

Strength reversed is showing that the reaction to it was reflective of one rooted in self-doubt and a lack of personal conviction. The card could suggest that LaDexter lost control of a situation, or of what was happening to himself, and did not feel he could overcome it.

The Two of Swords is another card where a person is unwilling or unable to see the truth about something. This could go back to the Three of Swords where someone got their heartbroken and might have been in denial about something they suspected was happening. It can show a person who is having a difficult time making a choice as well – often because there does not seem to be any good options.

It is difficult to say if the Knight of Wands reversed represents a situation or person. If a person, this is someone who may tend to get violent, probably has jealousy issues in general, and tends to behave recklessly. Justice reversed is telling me that the situation – or event – was unfair. Someone was wronged.

Temperance reversed enhances that meaning and also depicts circumstances that lack balance. There are many cards that are showing a hastiness to everything that is happening and point to poor or impulsive decision-making. Someone may have taken something to extremes – alcohol, drugs, violence, etc. It can depict a person losing control either mentally or physically. It can depict situations of inequity, as well as confrontations or outbursts.

The Empress is a card that confounds me when it appears in these specific types of readings because I have no background knowledge or context for it. This could represent a mother-type figure that is either pregnant or has a child. This person is coming up in connection with all of this, but I don’t know how or why. It could also be connected to the situation depicted by the Three of Swords in which there was a sense of someone feeling heartbroken.

Getting to the bottom of who these men were meeting and why might shed more light on their situation – not because I’m suggesting those people are in any way involved, but because if they are not involved it means they might have more information than they realize.

Row 1
Death (reversed) – 10 of Cups – Queen of Pentacles (reversed)
Card pulled for the Queen of Pentacles (r): 8 of Swords

Row 2
The Wheel (reversed) – The Sun (reversed) – Knight of Wands (reversed)
Card pulled for the Knight of Wands (r): 2 of Pentacles

Row 3
The Hierophant – 7 of Cups (reversed) – 2 of Cups

Tyler Stice reading 1

Disclaimer: Tarot readings should not be taken as absolute claims that something did or did not happen. I only report the meaning of the cards, their relationships and the meaning in the context of those relationships, as well as intuitions I have based entirely on the cards presented in the reading. When/if I say that something happened, in any part of a reading description, I mean that is what I am interpreting from the cards, their positions, and other related factors. Tarot reading is an art and not a science.

Summary:

Tyler Stice disappeared on June 21st of 2016. He was 20 years old at the time and from Kingman, Arizona.

Reading

As I always like to remind people, tarot readings should never be taken in place of facts. I know that I say that all the time in my posts, but I just want to reiterate it for anyone new that might happen upon this site.

The reading begins with Death reversed. It is a card that typically reflects a person who is afraid to make changes in their life and might be repeating mistakes, or negative patterns of behavior. It’s placement at the beginning of this reading suggests that there was a need for Tyler to make some pretty significant changes in his life – for himself and to improve the quality of it – but he was resistant to doing that. He seemed in need of undergoing a transformation in his life.

The Ten of Cups is throwing me for a loop because it refers to happy families and reunions. It could possibly represent what Tyler wanted in his life. I don’t feel comfortable saying the cards are giving me the impression of a happy home life because that is not the case as you will begin to see with the next card. I am really not sure what to do with this card just yet, other than acknowledge it.

The Queen of Pentacles reversed is usually a mature (as in age or mindset) motherly-type figure. However, it lacks the positive attributes associated with the upright position. People that fit the description of this card might be sociopathic, prone to jealousy, a manipulator, mean, etc. The Eight of Swords is coming up in relation to this person and suggests that Tyler might have felt psychological distress because of them. It is a card of feeling trapped emotionally and mentally. This would have been a toxic relationship for Tyler.

The Wheel of Fortune reversed indicates a sudden, and probably unexpected, turn of events. If accurate, it refers to a change in luck that was out of Tyler’s control. The reversed position can also point to a need to break a negative cycle, and circumstances or events happening that force the situation.

The Sun reversed seems to support that whatever happened with the Wheel was upsetting to Tyler. It reads as though it would have contributed to him feeling unhappy. Sometimes it refers to being overly excited about something – to the point of being unrealistic – but this overall reading doesn’t give me that impression here.

The Knight of Wands reversed could refer to Tyler, and his reaction to the changes that the cards are showing, or it could be someone else around his age. The Two of Pentacles depicts a person who is trying to balance aspects of their life, despite a lot happening around them. There is a sense of being in the eye of a storm and trying to focus on something anyway. The attributes of the Knight of Wands in its reversed positioning may include feeling overly confident, taking dangerous risks, making decisions too quickly, and others similar meanings.

The Hierophant is an interesting card to come up in this reading because sometimes it can refer to a mentor, teacher, counselor, or person acting in a similar type of capacity that is in someone’s life. Otherwise, this is a card pointing to traditional practices or institutions such as religion, marriage, etc. So the possibility exists that Tyler might have turned to a church or religious type of resource for guidance or support.

The Seven of Cups reversed may explain why in that it is a card that comes up when someone feels a lack of purpose and knows they need to make some choices in their life. It can represent someone who makes poor choices, as well as someone who feels trapped and has generally been responding in a way that avoids confronting the cause/s of those feelings.

The Two of Cups is another card that is throwing me for a loop. It is a card of partnerships – often of a romantic nature, but not always. It definitely represents two people who feel a strong connection to each other. It may represent a new relationship or something that has been going on. If this is accurate, I don’t know the exact implications. Did he meet someone and go somewhere with them? Was he hoping to do that, but something happened to prevent it? I can only speculate.

Question: What happened to cause the disappearance of Tyler Stice?

Row 1
Judgement – Strength – Hanged Man (reversed)

Row 2
The Moon (reversed) – 6 of Pentacles (reversed) – 2 of Cups

Row 3
High Priestess – 5 of Cups – 8 of Pentacles

Tyler Stice reading 2

Reading:

The first thing I want to mention is that the Two of Cups appeared in this second reading as well, suggesting the possibility that he met someone that he felt a connection with, and that person is somehow linked to all of this – if accurate.

Strength might mean that he called upon his inner power and courage to face a problem he was previously avoiding.

The Hanged Man reversed could support what was noted in the first reading about Tyler being stuck in a situation because he feared change, or he was just generally avoiding one or more problems in his life. It can also show someone stalling for more time. Whatever changes were needed or desired, Death reversed in the first reading is giving the impression they were significant.

The Moon reversed can mean that a person is working through their fears and anxieties. If someone has been living in a world of fantasy or illusion, this card might show a person seeing and accepting reality in a way that can ultimately be empowering – depending on all of the circumstances.

The Six of Pentacles reversed can depict a situation where there is an imbalance of power between two or more people. For instance, it can come up if someone is being generous and offering another person money or gifts – with strings or expectations attached. Sometimes it comes up if one person in a relationship has the majority of the money and is prone to abusing the control that it gives them over the more dependent person.

The High Priestess is a card of intuition and conveys the need to listen to one’s inner voice. It can also point to some kind of spiritual guidance that has been provided or is being given.

The Five of Cups may come up when someone is grieving over a loss. Something may have happened to cause Tyler to become emotional. If these readings on him are generally accurate – and again they are just tarot readings – then it might mean that he lost someone or a relationship that he felt extremely upset about. He might have learned information that brought him pain.

The Eight of Pentacles depicts a situation where someone has opportunities presented to them that they have accepted, or a new job, or a new focus in their life that they are taking seriously. My hope is that this suggests a positive outcome in all of this, but it isn’t a good idea to rely on the cards to provide definitive information about a person’s well-being or status. It can be encouraging to see though.

Question: How can Tyler Stice be found?

3 of Fire (reversed) – The Chariot (reversed) – Son of Earth (reversed)

Tyler Stice reading 3

Reading:

The 3 of Fire reversed is a card that warns against moving forward or taking some kind of action without being properly prepared. The Chariot reversed – as it pertains to this particular deck – is warning against rushing into something that could end badly as a result. The Son of Earth reversed represents someone who is stubborn, may lack focus, and could possibly be resistant to providing help. Honestly, I don’t know exactly what these cards are trying to convey and so I will just put their general meanings out there. I always maintain hope of a positive outcome – in the absence of proof to the contrary.
